The other half is used for roads, landscaping, and water.

Vivid start of the new year at Borchwerf II

For developing the Borchwerf II Business Area, 2017 will be a vivid year. In particular because the new distribution center for Primark will be opened. Further at this moment Groep Heylen is realising the first stage of Agora21 Logistic Campus, adjacent to junction 21 of the Highway A17. Groep Heylen has concluded the first contracts with DHL for client Hill’s Pet Nutrition. At this moment at Agora21 60.000 m2 is still available for companies that seek possibilities for a logistic hotspot between the Mainports Rotterdam and Antwerp to accommodate renewed supply chains. The initial 25.000 m2 will be realised this summer.

Specialised international logistics and e-commerce companies
There will also be new large scale developments at the Borchwerf II Business Area this year. Large plots will be necessary for the establishment of specialised international logistics and e-commerce companies at Borchwerf II. The interest derives from the Business Area being situated between Rotterdam and Antwerp along both sides of the Highway A17, the direct connection at the Highway A17 via two dedicated junctions and the short time to realisation that’s appreciated by establishing companies.
